The Role:

Based at Caterham’s head office in Dartford we are looking for an individual to look after the day to day running of the parts sales and processes. Selling over 500 cars a year will mean that you will be looking after an important aspect to the success of the company, you will be in charge of making sure you increase efficiencies within a very busy and exciting parts department.

The role will be making sure the cars being built have the correct parts, to a customer or supplier ordering a spare part, the journey must be seamless and a smooth process. You will want to challenge the current system and bring new ideas about products and continually improve all areas of responsibility.

As a Parts Sales Advisor your duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Dealing with all orders within whatever medium they arrive
  • Offering advice on updating both dealer and retail parts websites to our website administrator
  • Work within a busy team offering excellent service and striving to increase efficiencies and back order priority
  • Increase order turnaround
  • Aid the development of new product and release to market
  • Support all departments within the company and external customers and partners.
  • Advertise parts and process sales through other mediums
  • Provide feedback on all areas of stock control

The successful candidate is expected to:

  • Have previous experience in the motor trade within the parts department
  • Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Full clean driving license
  • Willingness to ensure your duties are carried out to the highest standards
  • Flexibility to work (at short notice) unsociable hours in order to meet customer needs
  • Flexibility to carryout tasks that may not usually fall under your standard job description
  • The ability to comply with all company and manufacturers Health and Safety, HR policies and procedures.
