Caterham Joins Williams Automobiles at Castle Combe for Charity Track Day

On Monday 13 August 2018 Caterham Cars Ltd will be joining Williams Automobiles for a special experience day at the legendary Castle Combe Circuit.

We will be raising donations for Macmillan Cancer Support through a variety of exciting activities for those of all ages.  Drivers will have the chance to get behind the wheel of a Seven with guidance from one of our racing instructors.

Castle Combe has been home to numerous motorsport events over the years, ranging from British GT Championships to Formula Three races.  Opened originally as an airfield in 1941, it is regarded as one of fastest tracks in Britain and today it features seven corners with two challenging chicanes.  For fans of Top Gear, you may remember the circuit from their 70’s supercar challenge where the Stig famously lapped a Vauxhall Astra diesel quicker than a Lamborghini, Ferrari and Maserati. Fortunately, our cars are a little quicker.

Choose between a half day (£150) or full day (£250) of driving, and you’ll know the track like the back of your hand in no time.  We also have opportunities for you to experience the track at full throttle, for £25 you can enjoy a passenger ride like no other as a professional driver takes a Caterham to the ragged edge.  There are also spectator tickets available for £25 per person.

Please show your support for a wonderful charity and come along for a day of motoring madness.  If you would like to book your place, please send an email to henry [at] williamsautomobiles [dot] com and he will be able to help with any questions you may have.

We look forward to seeing you there!
