Home of the British Grand Prix and one of the most famous tracks in the world, Silverstone is the track that every petrolhead dreams of driving. The International circuit is 1.9 miles long, with plenty of run off areas and high-octane overtaking opportunity thanks to being part of an F1 circuit with a wider track than usual. This fits in rather well with the highly competitive nature of all the Caterham Championships.
The track was first developed in 1943 for Silverstone RAF as a wartime airfield, and was converted to a racing circuit after the Second World War had ended. Racing started in 1948 and has continued ever since, hosting the most popular National and International racing events in the world.
